South African fans were left angered on Tuesday after experiencing frustration in attempting to purchase tickets online for Saturday’s United Rugby Championship (URC) final between the Stormers and Bulls at the Cape Town Stadium.

Tickets went on sale at 12:00 on the Ticketpro website, but those waiting patiently for midday were soon left facing technical challenges as the website crashed.
It didn’t take long before social media was abuzz with the paying public expressing their anger.
Ticketpro posted a tweet saying “they were experiencing high traffic” on the website and were “attending to the issue”.
Kick-off in the all-South African showdown is scheduled for 19:30.

For those who do manage to obtain tickets, dress warmly as cold and wet conditions are predicted.
