Sportsnet reporter Shawn McKenzie was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing after allegedly arguing about being kicked out of a Nashville bar on Saturday, according to ScoopNashville.com.
The report cited Metro Nashville Police alleging the 33-year-old McKenzie “was arguing with staff outside of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar in the early hours of Saturday morning after staff removed him from the venue for ‘acting rudely.’”
The report said McKenzie insisted that since he had paid for a table, he wasn’t leaving.
“Several minutes later, McKenzie returned to the bar and began to argue with staff once again, at which time he was handcuffed and taken into custody, charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass,” said the report.
The Ontario native was released on $200 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on July 1, according to the report.
