Will Smith striking Chris Rock at the Oscars – who saw that coming?
There is no doubt the 94th Academy Awards will be remembered for something more than the fashion and the winners.
This year’s bombshell moment came when Rock joked that Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith looked like GI Jane.
Smith had initially laughed off the quip but things quickly went south.

Pinkett Smith has previously revealed she struggles with alopecia and been open about her struggle with hair loss.
The strike, and verbal lashing from Smith – “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth”, had the internet in meltdown.
And some were questioning – if the hit was a legitimate hit – if Smith would be charged.
