As we move into February and with Spring in the ‘Eyre’ why not enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at the historic Hardiman Hotel, celebrating 170 years of tradition.

The Hardiman Hotel Galway Afternoon Tea is renowned by locals and visitors alike and has been savoured for generations!

Sit back in The Hardiman’s naturally lit Parlour Lounge and relax…Start with a mouth-watering selection of sandwiches including Smoked Chicken & Chipotle Aioli on brioche rollHoney Baked Ham & Irish Cheddar with sundried tomato relish on malt harvest; Cured Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese with pickled cucumber on Guinness brown bread; and Truffled Egg Mayonnaise with chive salad on milk pan and Beetroot & Goats Cheese Focaccia with olives and rosemary.

From savoury to sweet….enjoy Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake; Classic Red Velvet Cake and Salted Caramel & Pistachio Tartlet and then the Hotel’s infamous Buttermilk Fruit and Plain Scones with clotted cream and preserves.These treats are served accompanied by a selection of fine teas selected by the Hardiman’s in-house tea masters and fresh ground roast coffee prepared by the hotel’s baristas. 

Bring the children too for a treat, and they can choose from sandwiches including Honey Baked Ham & Irish Cheddar on malt harvest; Peanut Butter & Jelly on classic white; Egg Mayonnaise & Chive Salad on milk pan and Roast Chicken & Tomato on classic white followed by miniature desserts – a selection of the Chef’s Favourite Treats. No coffee or tea for the little ones – but a choice of Babyccino; Hot Chocolate; Chilled Milk or a Soft Drink.

The Hardiman Afternoon Tea is €28pp, the Sparkling Afternoon Tea with a glass of prosecco is €35, and the Children’s Afternoon Tea is €15 per child.  Served daily from 12.30-5.30pm.
